An email marketing campaign for your business blogs can be a very effective way to advertise your content. It can be developed as a successful plan for expanding your audience and keeping them coming back for more. It is a critical component that can make your business blogs accelerate. So it would be wise when you have a blog to spice it up with email marketing. It can establish a connection with your guests and keep them coming back for more.

Importance Of Email Marketing Campaign For Bloggers

With social media being all the rage these days, many bloggers seek online fame on platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. While these networks are excellent for building a follower and broad audience, they still come with many loopholes. On the other hand, email marketing will increase visibility and bring your blog into the real world by driving quality visitors and engaging loyal subscribers. Furthermore, email helps you nurture leads, look for partnership options, and collect input to help you improve your blog.

Email marketing is a great way to create connections that will help you clear a few roadblocks. Using an email list to collect subscribers ensures that you can communicate with them freely and wherever you want, without the interference of a third party.

Ways To Get The Most Of Your Email Marketing Campaign

While it may take time to build a blogger email list, the payoff is when a user signs up for your list and decide to stay. So, here are some ways you can get the most of your email marketing campaign.

Grow Your Email List

Your first move would be to compile a list of subscribers. That is arguably the most challenging aspect of email marketing. But, of course, if you don’t have viewers, your valuable material would go unnoticed.

You’ll need a signup page on the website to get more email subscribers. Ideally, you want it to stand out and draw the interest of your readers with a powerful call to action (CTA). You can add one to your home page, about page, or even use a popup. Have your CTA like an on-brand light orange that stands out among the other subdued sections. It catches the reader’s attention and offers some options to subscribe to your emails containing your latest blogs.

Understand Your Audience

You must be intimately familiar with your intended audience. Discover their interest, preferences, pain points, and how they consume your content. When you have these insights into your audience, the likelihood of them paying attention to you, signing up for your email lists, and responding to your call-to-action rises dramatically. In addition, when you make your viewers as though you genuinely appreciate them, they will reward you with likes, clicks, and even sales conversion.

Examine how people respond to your content. Take note of remarks, opinions, and suggestions. Simply by taking note of these, you will determine the subjects and topics your audience is interested in. That will help produce more meaningful and relevant content in the long run.

Work On Your Email Content

Having a massive email list full of quality subscribers can open up many for your blogging business. However, even if you have 100,000 people on your list, it will not make a difference if your emails don’t cater to them. Fortunately, polishing your email content and optimizing your emails for conversion is easy. However, it would help if you took several measures to guarantee that your content is appealing and gives the reader easy access to your other content.

You need to keep your message as brief as possible, to the point that it cannot be condensed any further. Make a hierarchy of facts, present the most valuable information first, and keep in mind that you are vying for the recipient’s attention. If you have a lot to say, organize it into sections of their headlines. Organize your email with bullet points and columns to ensure that people absorb your post as quickly as possible. Doing these can help you garner their interest and improve traffic in your blogs.

Use CTA

Call-to-Actions, or CTAs, are typically designed as buttons that guide users to a page or a connection to your website. Consider this to be the bridge between a recipient’s inbox and your blog. Through CTAs found in your email marketing, they are driven back to any of your blogs. The success of the email can be determined by the CTA button you use and whether or not the recipient clicks it

So keep in mind that it is equally necessary for a blogger to make their CTA stand out from the rest of the email document. Setting it apart from the rest of your copy uses a larger font, bright fonts, or contrasting colors. Underline text if you use it for backlinks for your business blog, but buttons are highly effective.

Get Reliable Email Marketing Platform

To make sure your email marketing campaign is effective, choose an email marketing tool that combines with WordPress or any website host you use for your blog. Then, use the email platform to share achievements, topics you’re excited about, AHA moments, learnings, and anything that could be of interest to your audience. As a business blogger, you know how important it is to create an audience, and having a reliable email marketing platform can be your key to success.

Make An Appealing Design

Many blogs are now experimenting with text-only email promotions. The design factor is kept to a bare minimum, often consisting of only text and one or two images. These formats have a more traditional “friend giving a friend an update” feel about them, which can positively affect your email performance and is, therefore, worth a try.

You may, on the other hand, want a very different vibe. For example, some bloggers use various colors, blocks, and infographics in their email templates to make their newsletter stand out. It is now easy to create an appealing design as you can now easily find many design software for beginners all over the internet.

Place A Catchy Line

They say the first impression is the most important. For email marketing campaigns, your first impression is your subject line. So it is no surprise that 47% of emails are opened just on the merits of the subject line. A catchy subject line will encourage your subscribers to open any of your emails. To do this effectively, keep them short and direct to the point. Use the recipients’ names if you have this information available. Keep the length around 65 characters, the optimum size for a subject line. You can also use catchy headlines; however, make them relevant to the content of your email.

Final Thoughts

Blogger email marketing not only does it keep your followers up to date but also promotes repeat visits and allows you to boost your sales through referral connections. In addition, it enables you to expand your audience and increase visits to your website. Furthermore, it is an avenue to acquire new knowledge about your audience and the type of content you need to produce in the coming days.

Social media marketing is a fantastic way to reach new people. Email marketing is great in converting the traffic into customers. Customers go for encountering a business till 12 times before purchasing the product. Brands integrating email with their social media marketing can accomplish that milestone in quick time.

Potential customers look for brand integrity, implying that the business pays attention to detail and is trustworthy.

If your Instagram and email start speaking different languages, your brand consistency will only suffer.

You send informal and funny emails, but your IG page is about serious business. It depletes your branding process and you end up losing potential customers.

You need to sync the language of your social media and email marketing. Product Hunt is a prominent example. Their tweets and newsletter share the same parlance.

The brand is enthusiastic and informal, featuring countless emojis.

You can also use your email contacts to make informed decisions on IG ads. Ads can be a potent way to transform potential consumers.

Using your email marketing for testing ideas for adverts is a good idea. For instance, write many emails on effective and seamless subject lines tactics.

More on the combination

To ensure that your efforts of integrating Instagram with your marketing mediums are productive and cost-effective, you need to follow a few important steps.

You need to hire an editor or photographer, or even a reputable agency/service for your Instagram snaps.

You must have professional and crisp pictures that stand out on the channel.

You need to implement and engage some of the most and best optimized hashtags with your premium images. This is mandatory.

You’ll need to do extensive research and try different features and tools of IG to see what clicks with your audience.

It’s important to get very creative with your IG Stories and collaborate with some of the leading micro-influencers in the business.

Inclusion of original video content is an imperative. Lastly, you need to ensure that you’re following major brands to understand how they use each Instagram feature.

These steps can guarantee that you move towards the e-commerce galaxy with your IG-embedded email campaign. You can become a major name in the circuit.

If you lack followers and need views, you can pay for Instagram views to get the boost.

The lead-generating aspect

To fuse email and social media marketing to build your own audience, you need to organize contests.

It could be Instagram photo quizzes and contests, or other types of social media competitions.

This marketing tactic is a proven way to create buzz, attention, and most importantly, business leads.

Contests are a compelling manner of lead generation since they gratify your instant gratification need and enhance oxytocin levels by providing free stuff.

Remember that by just running a competition for the sake of it would be futile. You must ensure that you’re optimizing your contest.

It needs to imbibe social media prospects and turn them into leads in your concerned email database.

Make it compulsory for contestants to enter their email ids.

If you’re wondering how does email fit into your impeccable lead-generation too, you need to understand unlike your social media audience, you control and command your email list.

Once your email list has a lead, you can run them through an elaborate email sales tube or funnel, which you can perfectly prime to harness a lead to its ultimate stage, the sale. This is also where you continue to cultivate them towards brand loyalty.

For busy marketers trying to make a mark through Instagram, email marketing is extremely handy. You can optimize, automate, and rely on the sales funnel of your email to undertake the job on your behalf.

Smart ways to fuse your email with Instagram

You need to bear in mind that IG marketing isn’t to just gain more fans/followers, boost e-commerce sales and direct traffic to your website. It’s instrumental in growing your email list as well. Email marketing is a powerful implement to boost your business’ objectives.

Providing customer support through email is the surest and most common way. Most people prefer communicating with businesses in-ap through DMs and comments, but you have actionable ways to encourage your customers to send an email.

More than 90% of social media folks use the platforms to communicate with or follow brands. Apart from using IG to discover new goods and services, people also want answers to questions and get customer support.

When you’re using IG for business, it’s crucial to set up an IG business profile. You will then add your email address as a core contact option. It allows your followers to directly send you requests.

For businesses, this is a scope to initiate a conversation without bugging your followers. Additionally, you can invite your consumers to send an email so that you can connect with them on a personal note, or offer more assistance.

Promoting your newsletter on IG is indeed a smart way. IG posts entail a character limit. Hence, it might be difficult for brands to cram everything into one caption.

Fortunately, most people that they are click on the link in your account bio and sign up for your newsletter to obtain more information about your product, or something they wish to follow.

Sharing exclusive offers and discounts never dies out, does it? In fact, almost 60% of users follow and worship brands across social media channels to get access to sizzling discounts and offers.

So, making those enticing discount codes and coupons are an effortless and smart way to collect emails and boost sales.

A footnote

It goes beyond saying that Instagram has revolutionized the approach of business campaigning all over the internet. Commonly and conventionally, you will find that email marketing would present a risk or uncertainly of recipients not opening the emails, but IG has helped to curb the risk to a huge extent.

When you put your IG content or coupon codes in your email content, and connect it with your link in the bio, you hit two targets in one shot.

When it comes to your brand and business, having an effective digital marketing strategy can make or break your success. There are lots of suggestions and advice available on the internet. However, it is a bit hard to know which are the most essential.

With thousands of websites today, you have to really stand out. To do so, you have to focus on these particular areas in your digital marketing strategy.

You probably already know some of these but how much should you know to make them useful? Take a look at these effective digital marketing tactics.

Shall we get started?

SEO

First of all, the most crucial part of digital marketing is search engine optimization (SEO). It’s a bit complicated, but with time, you can easily understand it. Google’s algorithm can leave you a bit confused, but when you know how it works, you can learn more and easier about its concept.

If you want to be truly successful, it’s best to have a professional with years of experience manage it for you. You can start today and learn a bit of the basic; however, it will take you a lot of time to be an expert in this field. As such, you’ll want to have someone who knows SEO and can help you realize the best strategy for your brand.

A single tweak in your SEO can boost your conversions and traffic by hundreds to thousands. If not, you might have a hard time beating your competitors and securing a top spot in Google’s first page.

Search Engine Marketing

Search engine marketing (SEM) is different from SEO. It is a type of internet marketing where paid advertising methods are used to increase a site’s SERPs.

In this field, having an expert to help and handle it for you is the best way to go. Look for someone who has experience in Google AdWords, as well as search or display ads. When it comes to Google AdWords, you first have to educate yourself with the basics, and how it works so, you can easily communicate with your hired expert.

When it comes to customization, Google AdWords is pretty easy. You can choose from YouTube video ads, and graphics display ads, in-app mobile ads or text-based search ads. These will depend all on your target customers and business style.

Local Search Marketing

Recently, local search marketing is getting more attention. In the coming years, it will continue to be essential for local business especially in getting found by their local customers.

Utilize Google My Business to have your site turn up on the search results when one of your target customers use the keyword. It also includes having your business appear on Google Maps. Plus, updating your listing is pretty easy, so you don’t have to worry about getting out of date.

Aside from social reputation, it is essential to have online reviews. Inspire your customers to post positive reviews of your brand on Yelp.

Content Marketing

Time and again, it is told that content marketing is king. It is a huge part of attracting an audience, but in order to be successful, you have to make your content relevant, consistent and valuable. Focus on creating interesting and helpful content. You also have to take native advertising, mobile content, influencer marketing, and marketing automation in consideration.

Remarketing

When users don’t respond to your ads for the first time, you can go after them again with remarketing. Track your visitors using cookies and create some ads on related sites.

Creating a evergreen sales funnel for your website/blog can be one of the biggest and most important things you can do to make money in your business.

I want you for one second to think about all the competition you have in your niche. How many are offering the same products or services as you?

Do you think personal branding or strategies that everyone is doing will help differentiate you. It won’t!

The only thing that will differentiate you from your competitors is to provide a 100% personalized experience. What your readers want is for you to give them what they are interested in. That is where a sales funnel comes into play.

The funnel will allow you to to send your visitors the information they need and will also direct them towards the products and services you are selling.

What is an evergreen sales funnel?

The term sales funnel is used in marketing to describe the process which a customer goes through when purchasing a product. A evergreen sales funnel is used to try and turn a reader into a buyer.

If you are using good strategy to gain traffic and visibility for your site eventually you will gain thousands of visitors to your site. Does that mean you will make money from them? We hope so but without the proper things in place you probably won’t. Unless you have a sales funnel. I’ll show you the visitor steps below

Stages of a sales funnel

Of all the visits you receive, only a few will become subscribers (have you created a Lead Magnet and a Squeeze Page so that you can collect email?).

Of your subscribers only some will interact with your content regularly (you need email autoresponder ).

And of those that interact with your content, there will be a some that will buy your products or services (only if you have a good product or service).

In the picture above you see your traffic coming into your funnel from different channel. A few of your visitors will then become subscribers. This is the start of your funnel. From the readers who become subscribers only a few will become buyers.

Why create a conversion funnel?

Although I use the word create, the reality is that what you are going to do is optimize the one you already have. Trust me when I tell you that you have a funnel, even if you don’t think you do. From the moment you sell products and services you already have a sales funnel . It probably is not optimized to convert but it is there.

Here are some funnel examples:

1. Service Funnel

Let’s say that you are a graphic designer and you provide a service to create logos for companies . A person searches in Google for “logo designers” and among the results finds your website. They go on your site, review your portfolio, see the testimonials of your clients and decide to contact you and ask about your services. You respond to the email with your rates and answering any questions they might have had. The client likes your response and decides to hire you. This is a funnel

2. Info product Funnel

You are a programmer and created an ebook on how to optimize your wordpress site with plugins . A blogger who has just launched his site is looking for information on the best wordpress plugins. After searching on google for a while they find your website and see that you have a Lead Magnet about what he is searching for. They opt-in to receive your lead magnet, reads you eBook and also reads the content on your site and loves it. They bookmark your blog so they can come back and read some more of your content. After a month the discover that you are offering a info product. Since they love your free content and it has helped them in their first month they decide to buy your product.

Is this a sales funnel or not?

Yes it is. The client has gone through different stages before buying your product.

Why you should optimize your sales funnel?

Our goal is to get the maximum number of people to buy from us.To accomplish this you will need to use a segmentation strategy to filter out your visitors based on their needs. In order to accomplish this you will need to create specialized content for what they are looking for.

Ex: if they are interested in On-Page SEO you will create content and a lead magnet around the topic. If they are looking for link building strategies you will create content and a lead magnet around that topic. All of this can be automated with autoresponders like convertkit.

Your funnel should be a personalized experience so your content should be tailored to what their interest are. We should be providing value and solving their problem. All of this should be automated.

Step 1 – Do your homework before setting up a evergreen sales funnel

Since the moment you started selling a product you have had a funnel. However, this does not imply that you have well designed funnel for your business. I will be detailing the steps you should be taking to make sure you are getting the most out of your funnels.

1. Define your ideal client

Modern marketing is based on the idea of segmentation. Our products and services will only sell if we are clear about who we are going after and we know their concerns in detail.
This is vital because if we attract the wrong people into our funnel, the funnel will not work. Create your ideal client before moving to next step

2. Unique Value Proposition

What is special about your product that others do not have? The unique value proposition refers to the fact that you must define why a client should choose you and not the competition. If you want to know how to define your Unique Value Proposition Click on the link

3. Irresistible offer

If you want to make lots of sales, the offer you create has to be irresistible. Has to be able to solve the pain point of your client? In order to Create a great product or service you must study your niche, make an analysis of your competition and investigate prices and strategies. If what you are going to sell is not good, it does not matter if you have the best funnel in the world, it will not sell.

4. Lead Magnet

One of the most important steps within the funnel is to convert visitors into subscribers and one of the most effective ways to achieve this is through a lead magnet. Think about your lead magnet before you start working on your funnel.

5. Visibility

If nobody sees your blog, no one will enter your funnel. It’s that simple. If you just launched your blog, focus first on reaching your minimum viable audience . Afterwards, you will have to propose a strategy so that you continue to get new visitors in a stable manner. You will have to work on your SEO , your social media marketing ( LinkedIn , Twitter , Facebook …) and your guest posting strategy.

Step 2: Stages of the sales funnel and how to get your customer to buy

The sales funnel’s main focus is to turn a visitor into a buyer by personalizing their experience so that we can show them that our products and services are what they need. To achieve this we have to segment our list of subscribers by their interest. You will only send content that interests deal with their specific interests.

Before we dive deeper into funnels, I want to explain a concept that is sometimes confused with the funnel “The Buyers Journey”.

What is a buyer’s journey ?

Many bloggers are blinded by their egos, they believe the world revolves around them and their product. Being egotistical is the worse mistake you can do as a blogger. Your blog and marketing strategy should revolve around your potential clients. I am telling you all this because in the process of creating your funnel you can not forget about your client. You always have to be able to put yourself in their shoes and see through their eyes what their experience with you is like. By understanding how your potential client thinks you can predict how they will react in certain situations, and it will also allow you to offer them exactly what they want.

That’s why the sales funnel should be seen from the customer’s view. The buyer’s journey is the evolution of the buyer’s mentality from the moment he discovers he has a need to when he becomes a buyer.

3 Phases of the Buyers Journey in the Sales Funnel

Discovery ( awareness ): this phase could be summarized with the question ” How could I increase my sales?” The client is looking for options but has not yet found an answer. they are searching the Internet looking for solutions.

Consideration: the question now would be “is this what I need?” . The person has found a product or service that he believes can solve his problem.

Decision: the question becomes more and more concrete and is “do I buy what this person is offering me?” . The moment of truth has arrived and the client needs the definitive information that makes him buy.

If you understand which phase each client is in, it will be easier for you to offer what they need to keep moving towards the purchase. The whole process is based on resolving possible doubts and insecurities.

Stages of a Evergreen Funnel

1. Top of the Funnel

The top of the funnel is for buyers still in the discovery Phase this stage has the most people in it.

In this stage of the funnel you have to connect with as many visitors that enter your blog as you can . Maybe they found you by a Google search, by asocial media site or because someone recommended you. No matter what channel they have came from, the important thing is that they are on your blog.

What is the challenge of this phase?

Once you have the visitor on your website. Your goal is to figure out what that person’s problem is that they are looking to solve, and to get them to subscribe to your blog.

I am always telling you that your list of subscribers is your No. 1 asset in your business. Getting traffic is very important, but if those visits do not transform into subscribers there will be no sales.
To get sales you need to establish a conversation with that reader, further analyze their needs and earn their trust. Without this it is impossible for you to personalize their experience and convert them into buyers.

How do we convert visitors into subscribers?

The best known strategy to turn visitors into subscribers is by offering a Lead Magnet or free gift in exchange for the person email address. But there are many more options:

Webinars

Create a “start here” page and direct the person to other resources you offer.

Implement Content Upgrades in your content.

Use plugins specialized in conversion like Thrive Leads .

Redirect from your social media posts to a Squeeze Page where you offer a gift.

Create contests and challenges on social networks.

As you see there are many strategies. Check out which ones work best for your community, Your main focus is to get them to subscribe to your offer and get them into your funnel.

2. Middle of the funnel

We have descended a little more in the funnel and we reached the second phase. Now comes a very important part that many overlook: What to do with your subscribers? We all know that it is very important to capture leads, but very few bloggers know what to do with them. The reality is that many bloggers only send newsletters with reminders that they have published a new post by doing this you are losing out on many opportunities and money.

What many bloggers should be doing is combining the sales funnel with the autoresponder like convertkit. You only have to create a email sequence once and then it will work automatically.
In this phase, email marketing will help us with lead scoring and lead nurturing.

Lead scoring

Lead Scoring means “measure the lead”. In this phase of the buyer journey we are trying to find out how close the buyer is to buying. This is called the Lead Temperature

Cold leads: they are in the first phase and far from the purchase. You have to make them advance through the funnel.

Hot leads: they already know what they need, they only need a little push.

When it comes to Hot leads there is no black and white. You can have warm leads or very hot leads.

Warm Lead: could be a person who has subscribed to your list a month ago, opens all your emails, click on contents of different topics. This person is interested, but is still gathering information. You do not know yet what their main need is.

Very hot lead: you receive an email from a person who wants to hire you for the service you offer. This possible client already wrote to you with a clear purchase intention. If your explanation of how you approach work and your price convinces them, they will end up buying.

What lead scoring does is measure the temperature of the lead. Depending on whether they are “cold” or “hot”, you will email them different sequences.

If it is a cooler lead, you will have to give more information about the benefits of treating the problem they have. On the other hand, if it is a “hotter lead” you will offer another kind of possibilities such as a free trial of our product or a 30 minute Skype session

How are leads measured?

There are some software such as Hubspot and Ontraport which help you in measuring a leads temperature, but you can also do it yourself, the key lies in the interaction that the subscriber performs with your content. There will be visitors who download your Lead Magnet and then do not open any of your emails. This would be a “frozen lead” because it will be very difficult to make them go through the funnel.
However, you will see that others do open your emails and click on some of the links. This interaction is proof that this person is interested in your content and products. This would be a warm lead.

Lead Nurturing

The verb “to nurture” means to feed and raise. When it comes to marketing it means to nourish or feed your lead with valuable content to help them get further along in the funnel. The objective is to continue contributing value in a more specific way. This is also called warming up the lead.

Let’s see what the process looks like:

Depending in what stage of the buyers journey the visitor is in will determine what type of content we will send to them.

Cold Lead: we will send them more generic content until we can see what they are interested in. You can measure this by seeing which links they click on or do not click. Do not forget that the key is to send content that interests them.

Hot Lead: You know exactly what they are interested in. In this case you will have to send more detailed contents. For example, some deeper guides or contents with more statistics. This information will be more related to your products and services so they can see that you have the solution to their problem.

With this type of content you not only have to earn the subscriber’s trust, but you also have to demonstrate everything you know and are capable of doing . The goal is for the subscriber to see more and more clearly that you are the solution to their problems.

3. Bottom of the funnel

And now, it is the moment of truth, where the money is made. In this part of the evergreen funnel the content is less informative and more of you selling. For example, you can showcase your success stories or offer more personalized sessions where you can sell your product or service.

For that last push, you have to write a sales email or design a landing page. To do so, focus on these 3 questions:

Benefits vs. characteristics: do not talk about how good you are, the experience you have or if your information is the best. That does not matter to anyone. You have to focus on convincing the person how you can improve their life, solve their problem, make their life easier.

Objection: Put yourself back in your client’s shoes. What questions can you ask about your product? What doubts can prevent you from buying? In the landing page or email you must answer all those questions.

Clarity: make sure you are clear what the process will be. Whether it is a service or a product, the person has to know how everything they will receive when they make a purchase.

The bottom of the funnel is the last phase of the funnel. But it is not the end. We are not finished yet.

Turn your client into a Brand Evangelist

After the purchase you still have something very important to do. Customer loyalty. A person who has bought a product or hired you for a service and has been satisfied is a potential evangelist of your brand.
In the midst of the digital revolution and in a world designed to be dominated by entrepreneurs, the best strategy is word of mouth from loyal customers.

A person who has already bought from you is your best potential customer and can recommend you to others. And that means receiving “very, very hot leads.”

How to turn your buyer into a brand evangelist?

Skype session half an hour after the purchase to resolve any doubts.

Discounts or free product updates.

Email marketing focused on getting the most out of the product or services by sending tutorials and tricks.

Even if that person has already bought from you, it does not mean you can not continue to add value.

Now that you know what a evergreen Sales funnel is, It’s your turn to get to work.

You’ve made this great opt-in to attract new people to your list, and now you go out and share it so that people actually get their hands on it!

Here’s the great thing about that… you don’t have to invest thousands or even hundreds of dollars to get your opt-in in front of the right people. Especially if you don’t know what you’re doing with Facebook ads yet.

Instead, you can simply maximize the FREE tools that are right at your finger-tips and then build up from there. Because the truth is… if it doesn’t convert organically… you aren’t going to want to toss money into FB ads just yet!

Ways to Grow Your Email List Organically

1. BLOG/WEBSITE

Every time you share a new blog post you have created on social media, you are giving people the opportunity to get additional value and join your list – at absolutely no cost!

Home Page: Opt-in bar that’s easy to find (preferably above the fold).

Pop-up Box: They’re not annoying, they WORK if done right! I like to use one that pops up when people go to leave my site.

Blog Posts: Within every blog post, have a sign up for your opt-in, either midway through or at the bottom.

Sidebar: Use an eye catching photo that they can click on and go right to your opt-in page.

2. SOCIAL MEDIA

Those who have the biggest social media presence are giving the most value. Use your opt-in as a value add for your current audience and take the relationship from social media to their inbox.

Instagram: Add the link to your bio and create a graphic that you share 2-3x a week letting people know about your opt-in. In the photo, direct them to click the link in your bio.

Facebook: Use the CTA button that Facebook gives you at the top of your page, to add your opt-in. You will be surprised how many people actually click it! Also, post 2-3x a week, with an eye catching photo, letting your followers know how to access your opt-in.

IGTV/Facebook Live: Share your opt-in at the middle and end of every live-stream.

3. LEVERAGE COLLABORATION

There are others out there with a similar audience as you. Collaborating with those you trust in the industry is a great way to not only grow your list but really connect with like-minded entrepreneurs and keep things fun in business.

Guest Blogging/Podcasts: Reach out to the blogs and/or podcasts that your target audience would be following and reach out to them, letting them know how you can serve their audience. Most will allow you to promote your opt-in as a thank you for your time and knowledge shared.

Facebook Groups: Are you consistently adding value in other Facebook groups, where your ideal clients are hanging out? If so, make a note of their “promo days” and each week, share your opt-in with that audience on the appropriate day. Note: this is only effective if you consistently engage in that group.

There you have it… a whole list of ways to consistently get your opt-in out there and build your list… without even placing one ad (yet)!

People are waiting for what you have to offer, and NOW is the perfect time to get out there and give it to them. Let me know in the comments below if you have other tips on growing your list for free.

Do you have a freebie, but it only brings in a trickle of new subscribers? Maybe you’ve had the same opt-in since 2013. Do you even have a freebie? Wait, don’t answer that. You KNOW you really should have a killer opt-in for your readers. It’s the best way to deliver special content to them and make them loyal subscribers to your brand.

(In fact, in Brian’s post How to Get More Email Subscribers, he details why it’s so important to get subscribers.)

That being said, too many of us ignore our opt-ins. We make a simple checklist or cheat sheet, slap it up in our sidebar, and call it day. No, no, no! If you really want to grow your influence and readership, you must make delivering valuable content a priority… always.

I’ve been guilty of this too! So know that you are not alone.

But I’ve learned the hard way that the old way of gaining subscribers just isn’t good enough anymore. You have to serve your audience’s needs, create gold for them, have a sparkly landing page, promote it like you mean it, and always keep it fresh.

In the past couple of years, I’ve gone from a trickle of new subscribers with a sucky opt-in to a steady stream of new subscribers with an opt-in that rocks. In the past two days alone, my most recent opt-in is converting at an average of 70%. My last opt in converts at 95%. Really!

This is how to make your opt-in convert like hotcakes too.

SERVE YOUR AUDIENCE’S NEEDS

First and foremost you want to figure out what your people need and then help them with that. I’ve found the best ways to do this are to survey, poll, and listen.

You can create a simple survey in Survey Monkey and send it to your list and even post it in some relevant Facebook groups. Ask probing questions to really nail down what your readers need from you. Just ask!

Polling in groups is super easy and fun. If you have your own group you can poll there. You can also poll in groups that you belong to as long as it’s in keeping with the group rules. It’s very easy for people to click a prewritten answer in the poll and you are likely to get many responses.

Lastly, listen to your people! What are they complaining about? What are they struggling with? What excites them? You need to pay attention to the conversations they are having on social media and in the comments section of your blog. What questions keep coming up for them? This info is gold for your opt-in creation.

And speaking of gold…

CREATE GOLD

This is your moment, my friend. This is where you get to show new people what you are all about, what you have to offer, and how you can help them.

Make it meaty. And by meaty, I don’t necessarily mean long. I mean make it full of substance. Cut out the fluff and give the people what they want! It could be a one page strategy sheet that gets them to their goal or it could be a 12-page report of some kind. Doesn’t matter, as long as it’s your best work.

Make it something people would pay money for. Stop thinking of this as a FREE opt-in. When you think of it this way, you are subconsciously minimizing its importance. Think of it as the important piece of the puzzle that it is.

Make sure that it has great formatting and branding. If your audience wants pretty, make it pretty too.

Whatever you do, please don’t just answer a question or give a quick win, which is what I hear gurus saying all the time to do. That way of doing it just doesn’t work. Maybe it once did, but it doesn’t fly anymore. Every blogger and their grandmother are putting out freebies, so go in depth with your answer or strategy to make it stand out. It will be better received and will be easier to market because it’s so valuable.

MAKE YOUR LANDING (OPT-IN) PAGE SPARKLE

Okay, so now you need a really good landing page to promote your offer. There are some differing opinions on this, but I’m a fan of a short opt-in form. My highest converting landing pages have been short and sweet, with a minimum of information, and the opt-in form.

It needs to look good. Use a great landing page plug in to ensure that your pages look pro. I prefer and use Thrive for all my pages.

Here’s an example of my highest converting opt-in form:

Simple and to-the-point, right? Yet almost everyone who visits the page opts in ☺

MAKE PROMOTION A PRIORITY

Now that you have your opt-in and landing page done, you need to promote it.

Promote it everywhere and like your life depends on it. JK. But seriously, it’s pretty important to the growth and success of your email list and business. So go promote, and then promote some more.

You can promote it in relevant Facebook groups (with the admin’s permission, of course). You can pin it to the top of your Facebook page and the top of your Twitter profile. You can create a beautiful pin for it and pin it on Pinterest. Don’t forget to include a link for your opt-in in all your social media bios, too. You can write a post about it, and you can guest post and link to your freebie in your bio.

KEEP IT FRESH

You may not have looked at your opt-in in a while. You set it and then you forgot about it! (Guilty).

Always be catering to your audience’s needs. Offer new opt-ins regularly to get new blood on your list.

The more you offer new and targeted content to your readers, the more they will like you and trust you. The more that they like you and trust you, the more likely they will be to invest in your paid offers. See where I’m going with this. Your opt-in is the first piece of the funnel puzzle 😉

SUMMARY

I know that by now you understand the importance of the opt-in in regards to your business. Henceforth you will serve your audience’s needs, create gold, make your sparkly landing page, and promote like a pro. Go get ’em!

Are you still doing nothing to increase you email list? In this article I will tell you why it is important that you work to increase the subscribers of your list and how to do it. Email Marketing is a very powerful tool for your business and subscribers are the main ingredient in that recipe. .

Why you should be interested in getting email subscribers?

Subscribers are people who have visited your website or read some content on your blog and decided to trust you with their email address so that you can send them new contents, offers, promotions, etc.

Why is it so important to get subscribers?

A person who gives you their email is showing a great interest in what you are offering or teaching

A person who is very interested in your content is a potential client.

When you receive new content in your email, a relationship of trust is established. This will make this person much more likely to hire or buy your products than someone who does not know you.

Subscribers help increase visits to your website. Return visitors help increase your search engine ranking

Once you have their email, you can contact that person. This allows you to talk to your audience directly and sell directly to them

Although having lots of followers on any of the social networks is social proof. A well-mailed mailing list is much more effective. Every time you send an email to your list, you are assured that almost 80% of the subscribers will receive it. In social networks, the free reach of your content among your followers is less than 20% and you have to pay to be able to increase it.

The effect of a social media site is very limited in time. If your potential client is not connected the moment you submit your content, they will probably never see it. But an email will be in their inbox for hours or even days.

The return on investment in Email Marketing is very high compared to other forms of marketing .

It helps maintain engagement with your target audience. It promotes continuous and bidirectional communication.Helps you get on the minds of people who can potentially become clients.

Most people prefer to receive promotional content via email rather than through social media. In social media the promotional content is perceived as much more invasive.

Are all email subscribers worth it?

We have already seen that subscribers can help you grow your business, but are all subscriber worth it? If you want your marketing campaigns to be really effective, you must segment your list. . That is, you are interested in having subscribers who are really interested in your products and services. It does not make sense to create your list with people who would never be interested in what you offer.

To get a well-targeted list you have to:

Know very well who your target audience is. To do this you must figure out who your ideal customer is.

Create epic content for your target audience. Many times we write for us, we should be writing to talk directly to our customers

Deliver the content in the format and at the times that best fit the needs of your target audience.

How to turn your readers to subscribers?

Here are some tip that are quite effective when it comes to helping you grow your mailing list.

Create high quality content. If your contents is bad, nobody will subscribe to your list. You have to create content that adds value to the people who read it. If your content is really good and answers questions or solves a problems with your readers, your list will grow very fast.

Offer a Free lead magnet. A lead Magnet is a virtual product that offers information. It can be an ebook, a white paper, a series of videos, a checklist … The fact is that it has to be interesting and informative. You will notice that many bloggers offer info-products on their websites as soon as you land on their page as an incentive for you to subscribe.

Exclusive content. Many bloggers offer exclusive information to members of their lists. This is information that they do not share in social networks nor publish on their blogs. The only way to get it is if you’re on their list.

Offer downloadable content that you need to subscribe for. Many bloggers offer a downloadable bonus at the end of an article that you can unlock by following them on social media or subscribing to their list. WordPress plugin Social Locker lets you do this very easily.

Exclusive offers for members of your list. Another way to encourage subscription is to offer exclusive deals or promotions that they can not get otherwise.

Contests or sweepstakes. To participate, people need to subscribe to your list. The prize has to be valuable enough to be worth it.

Really effective subscription forms . Not all subscription forms work well. In the next section we will look at it in greater depth.

Types of Subscription Forms

Sidebar forms. It is the most widespread and least effective form. Many people have learned to ignore the sidebar content of blogs because it is often full of ads. This type of form does not draw much attention and its conversion rate is very low.

Forms at the end of the articles. This type of form is more effective because the reader has just see your good quality content and now you are offering them an opportunity to continue receiving this type of content in the future. Its advantage is that it is non-invasive.

Fixed Bar subscription form. This type of form can be placed at the top or bottom of your website or even within the content. It is non-invasive and its conversion rate is usually higher than the forms we discussed earlier.

Pop-up forms. This is the form that appear suddenly blocking the page content and are very difficult to ignore. They are the most invasive method and least liked by readers, but it is also the most effective method. The difference with other types of forms is abysmal in terms of number of emails collected monthly. It is also more effective if an incentive is offered.

Landing pages forms. A landing page has the advantage of providing an page without any distractions. We send the potential subscriber directly to a page in which only the form and the incentive are. It is also very effective.

Collect emails offline

This is something that many companies forget. Email marketing is not exclusive to online businesses. You can collect emails if you have a physical store, an office where you offer your services or give training or conferences, you have many opportunities to collect emails for your list. Larger companies collect emails from their clients through loyalty cards or by offering special promotions. Do not miss the opportunity to get a client’s email to keep the communication active.

How to managing your email list

When we want to create email campaigns with a marketing objectives, it is essential that we use a email autoresponder. A email autoresponder will help to ensure that you comply with current legal regulations, it will allow you to automate e-mail and customize them. It is an indispensable ally that will also help you measure the success of your campaigns.

Here are two examples of email autoresponder

Mailchimp

Manage email lists

Create Automation emails: Campaigns, email when you publish a post, etc.

Import and export contacts

Graphs Reports lets you see the effectiveness of campaigns.

ConvertKit

Manage email lists

Create Automation emails:Campaigns, email when you publish a post, etc.

Import and export contacts

Graphs Reports lets you see the effectiveness of campaigns.

Segregate subscribers based on action. Example: When a person finishes a course and has started a new course, it automatically gives them a tag to identify the change.

I used Mailchimp and in early 2016 I moved to Converkit. You can read about why I moved to convert kit here.

You heard it a thousands times, you need at least 1,000 qualified subscribers to make a decent income online.

But at the pace you’re going, you’ll reach it by 2020

Unless…

You try the strategy I am going to introduce to you

If done correctly this strategy will have about 60% of your new visitors signing up for your email list

Interested? Well keep reading, I’ll be explaining what a Lead Magnet is and how to create one in this step by step guide.

What is a Lead Magnet?

A Lead Magnet is a free gift that is sent to a new subscriber.

The lead magnet can be any of these things:

Free Mini-course or challenge

PDF guide or checklist based on your niche

Free resource work (Excel, Word, graphic, …).

Video or audio training exclusive to email subscribers.

Discounts for shopping at your store.

Free trial software download

Quiz or Survey

…

The objectives of a Lead Magnet are:

Increase the number of subscribers to your list: by offering more than just the subscription, you will get more subscribers.

Send traffic to your blog key post: The Lead Magnet can send traffic to certain key posts, affiliate sales pages, or posts that will help turn your readers into buyers.

Help Facilitate the sale of a product: Lead Magnet can be a “mini” version of something that you will sell to your list at a later date.

Why is it so important to have a Lead Magnet?

Think about it: what real incentive does a subscriber have to join your list?

A lead magnet is the first step in a successful email campaign. It is used to build a huge email list and capture emails of potential customers and return visitors that you can promote your content and products to.

The importance of a large mailing list cannot be under-estimated.

But what do they get?

I’m sure you’ve seen that almost all site offer a newsletter in exchange for you giving them your email address. Most people get enough emails in a day and don’t want to recieve another unless they were getting something back in return.

About 10 years ago offering a newsletter worked great since it was very rare for sites to do it, Now that all sites offer newsletters you need to be more creative in order to get the reader to give you their email addresss.

Example of a lead magnet

Imagine you had a Local Dive Bar in NYC

What would you do to get the attention of the locals in the area?

There are many things you can do. One idea is offering them a coupon or a free gift for coming to your bar.

Another example

If your blog is about first time parents, maybe you could give away an ebook.

The ebook could be about “Five tricks to make your baby sleep through the night”.

This will defintly be of interest to first time parents..

Your goal is to reach more customers, so you need to think like they do:

What do they really want?

What problem can you help them solve

What can you offer them for free that will get them closer to becoming buying customers

And if your business is properly aligned, your lead magnet will have be related to your services or products that you will sell later in sales funnel.

Example:

Sell parenting courses for new parents.

On your blog have posts about childhood education and how to raise their children.

Your lead magnet is an ebook called “Five tricks to make your baby sleep through the night”.

This will insure that all readers that subscribe to your email list have an interest in that topic.

Email marketing: How to increase your open rate in 2016

How to design the perfect Lead Magnet for your subscribers in just 3 steps

# 1 Find out what your readers No.1 problem is.

The first thing to do, especially if you’ve been blogging for a while (3-6 months), is to review what are your most popular posts.

To do this you just go to Google Analytics click on the ‘Behavior’ tab, then click on ‘Site Content’ and ‘All pages’.

There you can find your posts with the most page views and your popular posts.

If you also have a post with many comments, take advantage of it . The fact that your readers comment shows that there is interest.

Once you have located the most popular and commented posts, visit these posts and write down the theme and common questions that appear in the comments.

This info will guide you in creating your lead magnet.

After analyzing your posts you should have a good idea of what your readers problems are and what they need help with.

# 2 Make the content outline for your Lead Magnet

A Lead Magnet should only take 1-2 hours to create.

It is free so you want to start with something small

Some examples are:

Checklist: Do you have a very long post you can divide into steps? Create a simple checklist with steps and offer them as a guided map for your post.

Worksheet: Some posts require the reader to do some work so that they can understand everything that was written. Create a small worksheet with the task at hand to get your readers to subscribe.

List of resources: Create a list of tools to support the article and explains what each one is.

Extra tips: give out a extra 10-15-20-50 short and essential tips on the topic your are writing about that can be read in 5 minutes or less.

Exclusive video: Create a small video tutorial on the topic you are writing about.

When you have your Lead Magnet ready just put it in Microsoft Word or something similiar and format it.

For the graphic which you will include in your optin box or subscription form (ConvertKit), you can use Canva to create.

Create a PDF and your ready to go.

If you don’t have time or are not good at design you can always use Fiver and get something made for you for $5

# 3 Includes your Lead Magnet in your newsletter subscription form

Once you have the PDF you just have to include it in your site and replace that boring newsletter form you had before.

Create a subscription form: For this site I use Convertkit and OptinMosters to create my subscription Forms. You can also check out Thrive Leads .

Use this form on your home page, on your sidebar and as a pop up: It is recommended that you show the Lead Magnet wherever you can. I Include it on my sidebar of your blog, in the post, at the end of post and in a pop up every time someone comes to my blog. Beware of pop ups, if they are too intrusive and repetitive your readers might not like them

Modify your welcome email: Your welcome email should now include a download link to your new lead magnet

In this step it is important that you include copywrite that your ideal client understands. If you offer something impressive but with a horrible copywrite no one will want to download it.

The Lead Magnet is only the begining

A good Lead Magnet is only one way you can build a list.

So today I want to give you a gift with this blog post: A guide with 77 Tactics and Tweaks For Building A Big List of Subscribers in Any Niche

These are tactics I have used to get my email subscribers to over 10,000 and make over $6k every month from it.

[optin-monster-shortcode id=”jc52krjwbilbs3mg”]

When you look at your blog statistics , what do you look at first?

I bet you will say traffic or visitors.

But what is a visit? What value does someone entering, reading something and then is gone forever have?

We need readers to go to our sites, read, come back, re-read, buy and buy again.

We need recurring visits. People who are willing to come back, read our blogs and buy.

If you want to sell online, your mailing list is your No.1 asset.

It’s useless to have 25,000 hits a month if you are not monetizing that traffic.

Are you ready to turn your blog into a subscribers and prospective customers generator ?

I hope so because without subscribers and no income you will probably lose interest in your blog quickly.

And if you have no income, I doubt you’re going to write 3 blog posts a week, answer emails, comments and market your posts.

Are you willing to act now and get your email list going?

If you answered yes I am going to show you where to begin and how to get results in less than 7 days.

Here are the 3 most powerful tactics I use to get my first 100 subscribers in less than seven days when starting a new site.

Tactic No. 1 – The launch party

What do you do when you move into a new house, when you open a new store or when you write your first book?

An event to publicize your new baby!!

Well, let’s do the same with your mailing list.

Think about 10 people from your network that might be interested in the subject that you write about in your blog.

They should be people you know are interested in your niche and who are active on social media.

Write them a email or message them saying:

I launched my blog where I share tips on _______________, I think this is something you might be interested in? If you are interested, would you allow me to add you to my newsletter, you will receive my posts when I publish them? If at any time you no longer want to receive my newsletter you can unsubscribe from it.

Then, once they answer, send them a second message:

Thank you! If you think my blog will interest one of your friends, you can send them to http://www._________.com (landing page with sign up form) to sign up for my newsletter.

Repeat this process at least 5 times with warm contacts in your network.

It Starts with your friends, friends of friends, friends of friends of friends, etc, etc.

Ask them permission before you add them to your newsletter. You don’t want to get tagged as a spammer.

As you get the OK, you now have permission to import these contacts into your email provider. Add their name and email address into an Excel spreadsheet and import them all at once.

If you do not know what email provider to use or how to do this, I recommend reading my post on Why I switched to Convertkit.

Tactic # 2 – The Irresistible online gift (Lead Magnet)

This 2nd tactic will need you to do a little more work, but it can be applied to 99.99% of niches without problem.

I’m sure many of you are students of different online courses, Facebook communities based on your niche and even participate in some private groups.

The members of these community’s might know you because you have exchanged messages, helped them with a problem in a private Facebook group, or even interacted with them in a online course.

Now it’s time to turn them into email subscribers:

:
1. Creates a irresistible Lead Magnet and offer it through a landing page

This Landing Page, also called a Squeeze Page, will have the sole purpose of getting emails in exchange for a Lead Magnet .

No distractions, no additives, no menu, nothing but the gift and a subscription form.

Here are three examples:

Amy Porterfield

Authority Hacker

Eben Pagan

Your landing page does not have to look as nice as the ones above. The most important thing is the content that you are giving away, not the design of the site or the design of the Lead Magnet.

2. Share this page In the right places

Now is the time to take advantage of all these groups, forums and communities you are in.

Share your landing page in these places but make sure you read the rules to make sure you don’t get kicked out for spamming.

Download spreadsheet with over 50 Facebook Groups for Marketers to Promote their content

Within hours your list should begin to grow and with this tactic alone you may reach the magic number of 100.

If your lead magnet is great you will also get others sharing your page. This will also increase your subscribers.

Tactic # 3 – The Lead Magnet + Facebook Ads

This tactic is a derivative of the above.

Since you have the Lead Magnet made we will try to get more subscribers by using the power of Facebook Ads.

What you need:

Squeeze Page: You should have created this in tactic #2

Ad: create an ad with a picture of your lead magnet, a picture of you and minimal design work. If you’re not a fan of Photoshop you can use a free service like Canva.

Facebook Business Page: If you don’t have a Facebook Business page you will need to create one to run ads.

Facebook 101: How To Setup An Ad In 5 Simple Steps

How to Grow Your Facebook Fans For Free

Once you have everything setup you should set your ads campaign to run on $5-$10 a day.

In no time you’ll be picking subscribers 15, 20, 30 or 50 cents, depending on your niche and who you are targeting in your ads.

Yes, you’re paying for subscribers but if you use your email list the correct way, you will make your money back 10 fold. (If you set up a tripwire you can get your subscribers for free and make money while running the ad. Ill do a separate post on this soon)

How long will it take for you to get your first 100 email subscribers

You should start today networking and making contacts. You should also be promoting your content so people can start recognizing you when you post.

I hope these three tactics will help you achieve your goals.

There are many more tactics but these are the ones I have had the quickest success with while coaching my clients.

What tactics do you use to get subscribers? Share in the comments below.

A few weeks ago I made the change from mailchimp to convertkit for my email marketing campaigns. This change was simple: it only required an initial few hours of learning and migration.

First of all I want to tell you about both tools. Then I’ll give you a quick little tutorial on the options you’ll find in ConvertKit.

What is Mailchimp?

Manage email lists

Create Automation emails: Campaigns, email when you publish a post, etc.

Import and export contacts

Graphs Reports lets you see the effectiveness of campaigns.

What is ConvertKit?

Manage email lists

Create Automation emails:Campaigns, email when you publish a post, etc.

Import and export contacts

Graphs Reports lets you see the effectiveness of campaigns.

Segregate subscribers based on action. Example: When a person finishes a course and has started a new course, it automatically gives them a tag to identify the change.

So if they both do the same things, why did I change? The truth is that I watched several recommended videos and I saw the ability to modify and edit the emails and I loved that.

Mailchimp was very tedious and very slow to change. It is supposed to be very comprehensive, but the truth is that I was not impressed.

In ConvertKit I saw that despite being a paid app (MailChimp is too, but has a free plan) it is very comprehensive, very simple, and it is made and designed for bloggers. Its creator made the app to solve the problems he had, so everything was well thought out.

What options are available in ConvertKit?

Upon entering ConvertKit first thing we find is a superior menu with different options.

Forms: An overview of statistics and where you can enter your subscriber lists, view different types of forms, landing pages, etc. Here you can create new forms.

Courses: This is is imperative for any email marketing manager: the email automation. With this I created my courses, and you can create as many as you want. I get notified when a person joins my emails.

Broadcast: For specific emails, this is used when you want to do a normal delivery that is not automated. You can also keep drafts that are created manually when a post is published on your blog if you set this up in the ‘automation’.

Subscribers: Manage your subscriber list. Here you can import and export.

Automations: This is where you can set up automatic actions to be performed when a certain action happens. For example, when an article is published in my blog, it automatically drafts an email to send to my list. Or when a person finishes a course, it automatically labels it ‘course complete’.

Acounts: And this, of course, are options in the General Account. Billing, API Keys, etc.

FORMS in ConvertKit

Here’s a snapshot of what you find when you go into your panel, the Forms section. Here you see the statistic showing you the leads you have generated and in what form they are generated. If you have multiple forms, this will let you see at a glance which works best.

Within this section you will see the main section beneath the graph to the right is: Create Form

Create Form is, obviously, used to create a new form. This is what I will use on the web page or for a landing page. The simplest way to use this is to use templates for the form. Although they are very simple, they allow for some ability to edit styles: color, text, etc. If you have some knowledge of CSS or HTML you can create your own form to your specific needs.

Forms – Create Form

You can choose whether you want to create a landing page or a normal form. This is the main reason why I decided on ConvertKit, because I saved the LandingPages I previously used, and unified them in Convertkit.

Create Landing Page and templates

If you choose a Landing Page these are the prefabricated options that ConvertKit gives you. Their pages are a great landing for your products, services, webinars, chats, or whatever you need.

Design your forms with ConvertKit

If you are creating a form, you have a few options, from very simple to the more complicated landing Pages. It is not the best in design, but the important thing is effectiveness. Besides, you can tweak the code and change what you do not like.

COURSES in ConvertKit

This is the best part of online marketing: automated functions and sending emails. You can create courses and send emails with a few simple steps. It’s simple and super helpful.

In my case, I have two courses. The course below I just started promoting. The other is the more successful, and now that I use ConvertKit it is easier to edit. I’m going to improve it every month to make it a complete course and above all, it will be FREE.

Manage Courses in ConvertKit

In the image above you can see one of my more successful courses. You can also see that it is very simple to use. You click and drag, click to create and write. It couldn’t be easier. This is precisely the reason I switched to ConvertKit , for ease of use.

BROADCAST in ConvertKit

This is the manual way to send emails. It’s where you can create a campaign, choose the audience you want to reach, and send. It’s also very simple, but the best part is that it’s fast. This email marketing service makes your job easier and accessible to everyone.

Subscribers in ConvertKit

It’s very simple to import and export contacts, and if you have a big list of emails, they help you with the import. It’s much cleaner and simpler than it was before with my other email service provider.

AUTOMATONS in ConvertKit

Automation rules are the glue that hold your entire workflow together. Trigger an action when a product is purchased, a course is completed, or when someone subscribes to a new form.

Something like: If this happens, do this other thing. It’s a simple if / then formula that helps you save time.

It lets you customize your tasks easily.

Automating is the key , as I told you many times. And with this option within ConvertKit you can do practically anything.

ACCOUNTS in ConvertKit

And here you can see your options control panel. It shows you your billing plan, time preferences and shipping options.

You can also set the email to send a picture and your name to your readers.

Let’s talk about prices and plans for ConvertKit

With ConvertKit, there is a free trial, but it’s more than worth it to pay the small fee for the starter plan. Other services such as MailChimp also will require you to pay for anything over 2,000 subscribers. So pricing really is similar between services.

The price is based on the number of subscribers you have:

1,000 subscribers – $ 29

3,000 subscribers – $ 49

5,000 subscribers – $ 79

8,000 subscribers – $ 99

You can reach all the way to 900,000 subscribers, and hey, if you get to that I assure you, you will not mind paying the price

My recommendation

If you have a newsletter or an email lists, switch to ConvertKit now, no kidding. It is much better than any other autoresponder I have used.

If you need help or advice on what to do and how to start it just leave a comment below or join my Private Facebook Mastermind Group

But definitely start collecting emails, whether you have a brick and mortar pet store or if you have a website it’s very important.
